The quarterly meeting of tha above bench was held at the Court houi»e, Cambridge, at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. Present: Mev,is J. Kunciman, Wheeler, Allvull ami Smith. In the absence of Mi (iraliatn, Mr "Wheeler was \oted to the chair. There were only two applications for re newal, J.is. Thos. Camp for tho T amahere Hotel, and Robert Williauihon foi the Tauwhare Hotel. There were no objection". A communication waa received from Mr Camp to the effect that as he was unable to proceed with the enction of a new hotel, lie was obliged to allow his hcutisc to lapso. Mr Williamsons licence uns granted, the licennco tr> bo informed that he must provide rope hre csenpes to each bedroom, the lopes to be attached to the top of the window instead of tho sill. The fee for tho .ibo\e license w.is h\ed at £10.
