The Dull Times. Rural lands in \anous parts of the pro vince, from Hokianya in the noith to Waikauae in the south, and froir Whakatane in the cast to Raglan in the m e->t, were open for selection at the Crown Lands Ofhce to-day until 4 o'clock this afternoon. The demand for landed property, howevei, must be veiy slight, as up till uoon to day the ouly application which had come to hand was one from Mr Hetheriugton for a section of I')^ acrea in the parish of Pepepe, Raglan County, which was, of course, gi anted.
