The engineer (Mr Sandes) notified vet bally on tho state of the disti ict loads, upon which some tcpairs wero necos-aiv. An application was received from Mi Steolo to have tlie Tramway load closed past sections 244, 215, 240, 247, and 248, Parish of Kirikiinoa. The board agieed to advertise the closing of tho road in accoi dance with the Public Works Act. Mr Stoole agreed to givo a load through his projwrty from tlio county road to tho road bounding Mr Coop's allotment, in lieu of the other, if poi mission weie given to clone it. The engineer was instructed to pick out the bent site for a giavol pit at thu head of Tamaheic (inlley, and also to repoit on the cost of a concrete culvpit or now biidgo at Itunciniati's gulley on the Piako road. The chairman and Mr Strele were iiuthoiisod to leceivo the lepoit and (,ill for tenders if necessary. Accounts to the amount of t'23o weie pa-s-,ed foi payment, :ind the bo.ud lose.
