ACTION ON THE KUSH RIVER. ENGLAND REPORTED TO BE ABOUT TO DECLARE WAR.
Lon'dox, April 9. General Komanofk, the Russian Go\ernorof the Tran-.-Cnspiiin tciritory, attacked the Ailghms on the 30th March, on the banks of the Kush river. The Aftghans lost fully 000 men, and were eventually defeated. The whole of the artillery and camp equipments were captured by the Russians. The Russian loss was 11 killed and 29 wounded.
St. Petersburoh, April 9. A despatch has been received by the Russian Government from General Komanoll' stating that he made an attack on the troops of the Amir on account of the hostile movement made by them. The Standard says it is believed the Russians -were defeated.
Wjsllingtov, Friday. The Ageut-Geucral telegraphs that England declares war immediately.
