A w.\-.p and a bumble bee had a chat Just over his little noso ; And a bun constrictor, upon the mat, I)res-.ed up in his Sunday clothe-.. A ciow nnd racoon, in a fiie balloon, Paused over hi-* bed to <ing ; And a neat armadillo crept up on his pil low To dance the Highland fling. Then all, ere they left, made a graceful bow, And out in the moonlight sped ; Excepting a pondt'ious biindli* cow, Which stopped to stand on its head. The little boy woke, and gunned at thf 1 joke ; Sprang out of his bed w ith a. lilt ; '" I cm di cam it .ill over," said lie, "while they co\or Me up with this cra/y quilt !"'
