ROMAN CATHOLIC CONCERT AT CAMBRIDGE.
The animal Catholic concert wan held in tho Public Hall on Tuesday evening (S. Patrick's Day). As anticipated, tho concert was a gro.it success. The building wan crowded, every available he.it being occupied. An to the programme, the dinging of Miss Staunton and Mr* McCurdie was the leading feature of the evening. Tho Hongs of both met with unusual favour, and at each appearance an oncore had to be responded to. Nor must we forget to mention the local lady amateur*, who, as on every previous occasion, rendered their songs with sph it. Mr O'Le.iry was very h.ippy in his rendering of " Don't Forget Me Little Darling," for which he received •i \ cry decided encore. The following is the programme :— Piano overture, " Irish Aim," Minn Mis&en ; wont?, "The (Jnodbye at the Door," Mr« Madigan ; song, "CushU M.ichree," Mr O'Le.try ; Kong, " Killarney," Mr« Kobt. Kerr ; duet, " Larboard Watch," Messrs O'Leary and SiiiuuH : !»>ng, "The Blind (Jirl to Her Harp," (encored) Mrs MKJurdie; Honp. "The Angel at tho Window," Mr H. W. Moore ; song, " Scenes that are Brightest " (encore, " None can Compare "), Miss SUunton ; "True till Death," Mr Hartley. Interval. Song, " When Other Lips," Mr Simnss ; piano solo, Miss Miwmi ; wing, "Jessie* Dieam," Mik Brennan ; song. "Oh, How Delightful" (encore "Wed Bettor Bido A wee "), Mrs McCurdie ; «ong, " Wait till tho Clouds Roll By " (encored), Mr* It. Kerr ; Ming, " Don t Forget me Little l^.uhnc" (encored). Mr O'Leary; song, " Thy Face," Mrs Madagan ; song, " Roberto '' (encored). Mi^s Staimton : nnn^, " I Dreamed a Dream," Mr H. W. Moore. Miss Wilson, Miss Miw.n, and Mrs Mulholland played the accompaniments.
