ALEXANDRA.
Thkkk are a good number of natives present at Whatiwhatihoe for Tawhiao's meeting, whicli was called for the 12th mat., but, as utmal, time is no object, and they are waiting forrothers, who are continually arriving. The Parihaka natives wrote to say they were coming, with the prophets Te Whiti and Tohu, but as yet there is no sign of their arrival. What is to be the outcome of their assembly it is hard to say. Various rumours are about. By some it is .said that the Ngatimaniapoto, with their chief Wahanui, are likely to be once more in accord with Tawhiao. It is a fact they h.ive met together at Wahanui's house, but what transpired in not generally known.— (Own Correspondent, March 10.)
