PLUCKY RESCUE FROM DROWNING.
A s VRtIOW escape and plucky rescue from drowning took pl.vce at T.iupui, on Wodday. A little boy named Hackett, whose parents live near Huntly, was bathing in the M.ing.iwharo creek and got out of In-, depth. Being unable to hwiiii, he h.id already sank once, when he was heen by a lad named Tom White, aged about 13, who, without waiting even to pull of his coat, jumped in and Hucceeded in dragging the youngster ashore little the worse for his ducking. __________».
