Buggy Accident. Mr ami Mrs Stewart, of the Thamei Hotel, and their son were thrown out of • buggy yesterday, and Mrs Stewart and her son were severely injured.
The Samoan Affair. News from .Samoi announces that the German Consul hat proclaimed supremo German control over Apia and the neighbourhood. The English and American Consuls protested. It is expected that a deputation of chiefs will come to Auckland in the Fleets ing with Mr Luudon shortly.
Licensing Elections. At the licensing elections to-dny, the Temperance tickets in all the city boards were uncontented.
The Hospital Scandal. The Hospital Committee has resolved to ask Dr. Bond to resign, finding that hr was guilty of harshness and arbitrary conduct towards the patient Smith.
