S. Wardell to the Resident Magistracy of Wellington. .Several gpntlemen enlogised the manner in which Mr W.mlell had transacted the business during the absence on leave of Mr Hardcastle. Both Ministers fell in u ith the v iews of the deputation, and said the matter had not yet been before tin- Cabinet, but when it was they would strongly urge the appointment of Mr Wardell. KAIKOURA, Sunday.
