A. man named Gilbert, an Irish-Ameri-can, who was arrested on Saturday in connection with the explosion at the Tower, was examined at the How-street Police Court, and was remanded for a week. The police are periling an important clue to the identity of the men w ho were engaged in the dynamite outrages at Westminster and the Tower of London, and eight persons are new being closely watched. Washington, January 26. In the Senate, to-day, a resolution expressing abhorrence of the dynamite outrages recently perpetrated in London were passed.
