Owing to tho heavy rain an embankment had gi\en w.iy, and the train rushed into the pap in tin: d.irkiieNS and \v«ii completely wrecked. Many of the carriages were telescoped, and several passengers were killed anil wounded. The Hcene wa-< one of intense honor. Assistance h. is been sent for, and particulars will be fot warded later.
