The cricket match Auckland v. CanterInn y commenced to day, in splendid weather. Auckland went in first, and when the last wicket fell had scored 93, the highest scorers being Coxon and Osmond, each with 19, and Barton 18. Canterbury then went in, and when time was called had placed 107 to their credit, with one wicket down, toward which Cottrell contributed 42, and SecreUn 55, both not out. Monday. The Canterbury score at 5 o'clock against Auckland was 220 for five wickets.
