Thoso racos took place on January 3rd., at Otorohangn. There was a good attendance of Maoris mtd Europeans. Thoie wax a Hurdle race prize £5, won by Clover ; i> IVJuidei) Plate of £4, won by Kutiri ; Ofcwih.inga Gup, V«vl l ' e 4 €7> won by Zulu ; Pouv Raco. £4, won by Wanitu ; Surveyor's Purse, £5, won by Wahanui'a Zulu ; and a Consolation Race, £3, won by Hetit's Hastings. Refreshments were plentiful and well pationised.— (Own coi respondent.)
