Waiobongomai, Wednesday. Clearing \ip has been going on at the battery to-day, for the various urines that have been crushing, \i/., the New Find, Colonists, and Diamond Gully, but the retoiting will not take place until to-moirow, Christmas day. It is expected that tliere will be a very handsome return of gold, propably not less than 1,300 ozs. for the week's run. The New Find will of course, be by far the largest contributor. The prospects of many of the mines on the hill is much better of late, and it is thought that with tho New Year there will be a considerable improvement in mining matters.
