Waiouongomai, Friday. A considerable improvement is noticeable in the appearance of things on the Hill this week. In the Colonist the gold-carrying portion of the teef has been come upon in the low level, and a seam of a superior quality is now being broken. An improvement in the crushing may consequently be expected. The Canadian have as nice looking a reef in hand as can be wished, and a little gold is seen in the stone. Nkw Find. — The crashing going on for this company is showing up very much i>->tterthia last few days, and should tho yield be kept up, a good return will be the e&ult of t!io month's operations. Diamond Gully.— The crushing now on at the battery for this company, is showing up well for a payable return.
