WHERE'S FORREST ?

Sir, —Some time ago I saw a letter in your paper headed as above, and considering that celebrated individual's turn of mind at the time, as to the flour mill in prospective being wanted by his numerous progeny, will you Sir, kindly try to hunt him up and remind him that there are many of us in Waikato who want our bread a little cheaper than we are now getting it, although we have not 16 or 18 mouths to till with bread as he may have. Oh ! Mr Editor— Where's Forrest ? Now h the time he ought to come to the fore with his Coop. flour grinding and bread baking establishments. Does he know that the 41b. loaf is being sold in England at 4d and 4^l, and that there are rumours of that being rathei high. Considering the price paid for wheat grown in Waikato, where we aie paying 8d for \\ hat can be had in England at 4d, it is possible that the Forrest has taken hib chickens to the cheap biead at Home, or surely we should have heard from him before now. I cannot believe it possible that this dear brcid has sent him to his uncle, with his celebrated white hat, and that that is the leasou of his not being seen or heaid of ; but whatever the reason may be he is the man we want to lower the price of our 8d loaves. Yes ! Mr Editor— the Forrest, and I repeat the question you have been asked before. Where's Forrest ? [We observe by a late English paper that the 41b loaf have been sold as low as 3Jd.— Ed]
