JOHN BUNYAN'S PILGRIMS'PROGRESS.

The Rev. J. S. Hill (Auckland) delivered his very interesting lecture on '• John Bnnyan's Pilgrim's Progress '" in the Cambridge Public Hall on Saturday evening, but owing to the unsuitableness. of the night the attendance was not as large as the merit of the entertainment deserved. There was, however, a fair number present, and those who attended had the satisfaction of witnessing one of the most enjoyable entertainments the Cambridge Public have been afforded for some time. The lecturer exhibited a large number of first class lime light views illustrating Holy Scripture, views of North-east Europe and England, and of New Zealand, and a number of funny views and pieces of sculpture. As the night was unsuitable for the general public, by special request Mr Hill kindly consented to give a further exhibition last evening in the same Hall.
