Gardeners Spring Show. Apcklaxd, Friday Night. The Gardeners Spring Show to-day, was a great success. The exhibitors were double the number of last year. The exhibitors number SO and the exhibits 400.
New Tobacco Company. The Tobacco Company started by Mr Vollbrachl has resolved to manufacture as well as cure the leaf.
Produce Market. To-day, wholesale butter fresh, 8d; butter salt, scarce, 9d to lOd ; cheese, good factory, 5Ad to 63d ; Canterbury do. 6d to 5W ; eggs per doz., Is; lard per bladder, 7d to 7£d ; bacon and hams, provincial, Gil to 8d ; hams. 811 to 9d ; bacon in cloth, 9d, —G. W. Binney and Co. report.—At their weekly sales of wool, hides, and skins. Ist. class stout. Hides were in demand and sold from 3|d to 4Jd ; light, s£d to 3^ ; inferior, 2^d to 2^l ; calf, 3-^d to 4d per Ib. Butchers' skins, 4s 4d to 4s 9d ; pelts. 7d to lOd ; stat'on skins, Is lid to 3s Id each.
