The Belgian Emigration Scheme. AncKLAXD, Monday Night. M. Emille de Harven, the Belgian delegate who arrived by the mail steamer on Saturday, was waited on today by Mr John Reid, chairman of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, who offered his services in furthering the objects of his visit. M. de Hai'ven goes to Wellington on Thursday to report himself to the Government and present his letters, but it is expected that he will return very shortly to Auckland, which is likely to be the chief centre of his operations. At Wellington he is to meet with Mr Beckx, the Belgian Agent-General for Australasia, who comes over for the purpose of conferring with him. Sir John Hall and Our Export Trade. Sir John Hall, when in England, visited most of the markets where colonial produce was for sale, and has gathered much information useful to exporters. He visited Mr Samuel Page's establishment, where cheese sent by the Waikato Cheese Company and a Christchurch firm were in stock. He says the colonial cheese was much superior to the American, and realised from 50s to 60d. The best time for cheese to arrive home is in December and January, when the market is comparatively bareof American. New Zealand butter, ho believes, will find a good market at home, and should arrive between November and March.

Buckland will sell at the Cambridge Horse Bazaar on Saturday next, 40 Tiorses of various kinds, new buggies, tip dray and harnest, fowls, gates, Ice. On' Tuesday next he will Jsell at OhaupQ, 200 -head- mixed stores, fat COWSj jdaixy cows, and hoggets, in their wool, -
