DUNEDIN, Thursday.
DUNKDIN, Thursday. A cable message has been received stating that the ship Dunedin arrived on the 10th instant, with her frozen meat in good condition. The annual meeting of the Moagiel Woollen Company was held to-day, and the report adopted recommending a dividend at the rate of 10 per cent. Messrs John Roberts and A. J. Barnes were re-elected diiectors. For the twelve months, ending October, ISS4, the export of wool from Port Chalmers was 57,432 bales; from Oamaru, 470.1 gales. During the same period over six million of rabbit skins, were exported. At the Harbour Board, to-day, the Harbour-master reported 17ft 6in at low water. He urged the necessity of keeping the big dredge at all times duly equipped for work on the bar when the opportunity offers, and expresses the opinion that unless this were done it might happen that some of the large steamers might have to pass the port. Friday. It is understood the police are on the track of a person who recently attempted to wreck a train near Milton.
