A mes*>V(JE was received fiom the Governor informing the Council that he hud given assent to the following acts: —Electric Lines, lhainage of Mines, Codlin Moth, Road Board, Impounding Act, Timber Floating, New Zealand Government Insurance Association, Municipal Corporation Amendment, Life Assurance Policies, New Zealand Loan, Beetioot Sugar, Propeity Tax, Consolidated Stock, Wellington College Reserves Confirmation, Sheep Act Amendment, Land Amendment, Animal-* Protection, West Coast Settlement Act, Bankruptcy Amendment, and Salmon and Trout. THE PKOROGATION. The Council adjourned until the afternoon, when Parliament was prorogued by Commission.
