THE IXKCTIOX. The election on Saturday will be declared void, for Hoveial reasons. The returning officer did not open the booth till ( J. 30 minstoadoffl. When he ariivod it was live minutes to nine by his watch, but the telegraph time was lialf-pasfc. He also ruled that each voter must vote for me candidates and a number of \oter-, only votod for three or four. These \ otes, forty sk in number, were declaiod iufounai. Had those vote-, been accepted the following gentlemen would h.i\e been elected : Messrs Mandeno, Wiisht, Stichbmy, Short, and Walton. A<- a nutter of couihO the election will bo upset, as theie can be no doubt as to the informality of the election.—(Own Conespondent.)
