Wklmnoton, Thursday. Thk following proclamation appears in tonight's Gazette : — "The impoitation of the following goods is prohibited : Apples and pears in any way affected with the insect carpocapsa pomonella, commonly known as the 'codlin moth,' or in which the said insect is, or has been, present in any stage of development, together with boxes, cases, ban els. or othei receptacles in which apples and pears so infected are or have been contained."
