Tl)e Council resumed at 7.30 p.m. The debate on the Mortgages Release Bill was iciuined, resulting' with the bill being read a second time ; The Wellington College Reserve*. Confirmation Bill was cimsideierl in committee and lopoitpd with amendments. The Anatomy Bill was read a second time, a-, also was the Justices ot the Peace Bill ; The Invr-icaigill Reserves Loan Bill was parsed, and the Council then went into Committee on the Affiim.ition in lien of CKiths, Religions Tm-)t Boards Incoipoiation, Employment of Females, and Bills of Evciunge. The Affirmation Bill was lepoited iind passed, and progress was reported on the other bills. The Council adjourned at 0.25 p.m.
