A meetixc; of the committee and promoters was held on Wednesday evening, Mr Skeatea presiding, Letters were leceived offering sites for the factoiy. Mr Dawson's received the largest support, and was adopted. This site is undoubtedly good, there being about oOQ acres of good grass within a radius of less than H miles, not to mention the farms from which milk is piamised afc a gi eater distance. Jts position is between Ohote bridge ami the mouth of the creek. Tenders for the erection of the necessary buildings will at once be called for, as sufficient shares are now taken up to justify the committee in taking tlm step. — (Correspondent.)
