CAMBRIDGE PARLIAMENTARY UNION.
A mklting ot the above union was held on Monday evening, Gt!i m^t. The Speaker being unavoidably absent, the Rev. Mr Dewsuuiy was unanimously elected Speaker for the evening, and took the chaii at 7 '10 pm. Mi .Stew ait was appointed Chan man of Committees, tlio lcgular chaiiman being similaily absent. The SpeaKei, aftci calling foi petition*, requested that notices of motion be given. Mr Kcesing gave notice of motion, " That a cattle and agueultuial show bo established in the "Waikito, to be held in alternate jeais, in the townships of Cambudge, Hamilton, and Te Awanmtu.
