TO TIIK EDITOR. Sir, — Through the medium of your columns I wish to contradict some reports which have been circulating in Caivbridge, in reference to the bad state ot the Oxfoid couise. I wish to inform theowneisof horses that a new course has been belected, which will be found equal to any in New Zealand. And in reference to the report that 10% will be deduced from the prizes, I beg to state that the prizes as advertised will be paid in full, at the Oxford Royal Hotel, the evening of the races. — I am, &c.
