OPENING THE CAMBRIDGE RAILWAY.

Thr tiain for the Cambridge branch lino proceeds through from Auckland this evening. The fust train will btart running tomoirow morning, leaving the Cambridge terminus at 9.35. As a public holiday has been arranged for, a number of people intend to avail themselves of a trip to Hamilton, returning home by the evening train. A considerable sum of money has been collected to decoiate the town, and to have a display of fireworks in the e\ ening. A. ball has also been gut up, to be held m the Public Hall in the e\ ening, as one of the attractions of the holiday. A special train will leave Huntly for Cambi idee at 12. 10 p.m., taking its departure from Cambridge on the return journey at 7 p.m.
