Bonnie Prince's she is the illustiious stud horse Piincc, the property of Mrs Nimino, Ota<^o. Prince, for puiity of bleeding 1 and as a getter of prize stock, i-3 unequalled in the colonies ; his stock having been sold for higher piices than ever was obtained for any other horse's stock in Otago. Prince is a bright bay, stands 16-1 hands high ; sire, Prince Charlie (imported) ; flam, Piincess Maud the Ist (impoited). Prince's sire, Piince Charlie, dark bay, foaled 1855, of the pure Clydesdale breed, imported from Scotlaud by J. and M. Macintosh, where he had been exhibited seven times and gained seven first prizes. Prince's dam, Princes'! Maud the Ist, hay, foaled 1553, imported fiom Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh In Scotland, Piincess Maud gained 18 prizes, including a Silver Medal iu Glasgow, when a throe year old, against all ages. Gipsy, Bonnie Piinee's clam, her sire the celebrated horse Emperor. Emperor lias gained tin ee first and three second prizes. Emperor's siie Napoleon, imported by the late J. Nimmo, gained first piize at the Bucklyve and Gartmore Agricultural Society's show as a two-year-old. Bonnie Piince, foaled 1870, is a beautiful bright bay, compactly built and of very supciior action, and has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and has gained the following prizes :— First at the Dunedin Agricultural Show, 1880 ; first prize Taieri Agricultural Show, 18S0 ; fiist prize Dunedin Show, 1881 ; first prize Taieri Show, 1881 ; and same day first piize for best draught entire horse in the yard; fiist prize Dunedin Show, 1882; fiist prize Taieii Show, 1882, and first prize for best entire horse on the ground, any age ; also, first prize Palmerston Show, 1882; and first prize Blueskin Show, ISS2, and same day first prize for best hoise or maie on the ground, thus finishing his show career up to date unbeaten.
