WRITTEN SEALED TENDERS in duplicate will be received by Lieut. - Colonel Reader, Commissioner, Armed Constabulary, Wellington, up to Monday, the 13th October, ISS4, for the supply of Rations to the Colonial Forces and others m the Kawhia District for the tvvehe months ending 31st day of October, ISS3. Specifications can be seen at the Police Stations, New Plymouth, at Defence Store, Auckland, and Coustabularly Offices, Kihikihi, Alexandra and Kawhia. Each tender to be accompanied by a cheque for (£25) twenty-five pounds sterling, made payableto the Receiver General only, and not to bearer, and marked by a Banker as good for twenty-one days, as a [ guarantee that the tender will be taken up. The successful tenderer will require to find two sureties, to be appioved by the Defence Minister, of (£250) two hundred and fifty pouuds each, for the due performance of the contract.
