WANGANUI, Sunday.
Owing to heavy rains the trains are unabfc to ran north to south, Heavy slips
have taken place at Waitotara, Brunswick, and Turakina. The district manager has had a large gang of men employed all day clearing the i»lips on the line, and traffic is expected ti be resumed to-day. Tne weather has now cleared.
