Directors' Meeting.

A meeting of directors was held subsequently, when Mr T. B. Lewis was appointed chairman for the ensuing year. Mr Westby was unanimously appointed secietaiy at a salary of £30 a year. Respecting the purchase ot the plant, &c , Mr Watt and Mr Ferguson thought that the better way would be to call for tendeis. Otheis contended that the letters before the meeting from liu^ram and Co., and Porter and Son, and Price at the Thames, were in point of fact tenders. After a little discussion, it was agreed to purchase the plant from Ingram and Co. Messrs Lewis, Hill, and Allwill were appointed a committee to proceed to Auckland and purchase the plant. It was also agreed that the committee named should visit and inspect the bites suggested, and make the choice which seemed to them best and most suitable in the interests of the shareholders, and that they also pay a visit to the Hamilton factory where, by the assistance of Captain Runciman and the manager, they would be able to judge of their own requirements, and get a correct idea of what was wanting. It was also agreed to hold another meeting on Saturday (to-day), at 4 o'clock at the same place.
