NAPIER, Tuesday.
NAriER, Tuesday. The Hospital Committee to-day hejc! the liveliest meeting ever known here. Mr Knowless, chairman, attacked Mr Harker, secretary, upon a question as to the correctness of the minutes of the previous meeting. Mr Harker stating that he was unable to complete the minutes owing to the chairman haviD^k carried off one rosolution. This W& Knowles denied, and finally some very hot language was used, Mr Knowles. accusing Mr Harker of interpolating matter in the minutes, and Mr Harker responding by stigmatising the statement as "afoul lie." Some members" of the committee supported Mr Harker, who claimed the right to speak as a life governor, but Mr Knowless refused tolet him speak. Other members supported the chairman. Ultimately the proceedings became so disgraceful that the majority of; the committee left the room, and" there not being a quorum* hit uq business could be dque.,
