DUNE DIN, Tuesday.
At the inquest to day on WilluriP Fiaser, whose body was found in the hat bout* yesterday, a verdict of " Found drowned" was returned. There was noevidence w hatever as to his movements after he left the hous° where he was staying. He had £430 at his credit in the B.uik of New Zealand. Information has been received afc Dunodin railway station by telegraph from Otepopo, that shortly after the express passed through the tunnel there, the body of a man was found. He had been run over by the train. It is not; known whether he was a passenger or a trespasser. The driver and guard of the train know nothing whatever of the oecuirence. Later. — It has been discovered that the man killed at the Otepopo Tunnel was William Randall, aged 25. He was a passenger by the express from Oamai u to> Port (Jhalmers. It is not known how he got off the train. Wednesday. The man found in the Otepopo tunnel! is David Ait ken, belonging to the TeAnau, and was proceeding to Oamaru to» see his sister.
