Wellington. Friday Night. There is very little additional news relative to the La^tingham. The Underwriters' Association have chartered the steamer Napier to proceed to the scene of the disaster, for the purpose of recoveiinerany property that may have floated a&hoie. The vessel will leave at 2 a.m. A magisterial enquiry will be held toinoirow at 11.30 a.m. into the circumstances attending the loss of the vessel. A rumour is afloat that the captain was not on deck at the moment the vessel struck, but there is nothing definitely known, and probably nothing further will be known until the enquiry to-morrow,
