THE RAILWAY TIME-TABLE.
TO THE KIHTOB. Sm,—You deserve the thanks of a large , majority of the travelling public for your advocacy of the proposed new railway time-table. I cannot conceive how a table thai will enable business people to go to Auckland and transact their business, and return the next-day, can give anything but general satisfaction. The small, and 1 believe fancied, discomforts entailed m a few living beyond the various termini in WaiJcftto are more than made up for by the benefits at the Auckland end. I hope the authorities will not be deterred from making the proposed alteration by misrepresentation, however cunningly given expression to.—l am, &c, Business-jian.
