[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] -Wellington, Thursday. The House of Representatives reassembled at two p.m. The Speaker read a message from the Governor stating that it was inconvenient for him to attend and give his reasons for calling Parliament together, but that he would do so on Tuesday. Major Atkinson moved the adjournment till Tuesday at two p.m.

Carried. The House rose at a quarter past two p.m. In the Legislati ve Council the Hon. R. Oliver presented a message from theGover* nor to the same effect as that read in the House of Representatives, and the Council adjourned,
