London, August 9. Tub reported seizin c of Kelnng by Admiral Com bet, the truth, of which was denied in the House of Commons by Lord Edmund Fitssmaurice, is now fully confirmed, and it lias now transpired that Patenotre notified the Chinese Government that the occupation of Kelung by the French forced will continue until the demands by Fianc for satisfaction on account of the Langson affair have been satisfied. The proposed idemnity has now been reduced to SO.OOO.OOOfr. Hovokong, August 10. The town of Kelung, in Formosa, was bombarded by the French fleet for one hour, when the Chinese withdrew, and a force was landed to occupy the place. Admiral Com bet, with a portion of his fleet, is still afcFoochow, ahel four French warships are now before Woosung, a port near Shanghai.
