[ki;utkh's teleghams,] London, July IS. Latf^t telegrams to hand state there is but little prospect of a settlement being arrived'at between France and China over the Langson embroglio. The French fleet, under Admiral Com bet, is now menacing Foochow, and will,'it is expected, seize that town unless the French demands are met. [Received July 21, 12 29 a m.] - Hongkoxo, July 19. It is announced that the Emperor of China has i&sued an order that the towns of Langson, Laokoi, and Coabang, in Touquin, now in the occupation of the Chinese, shall be simeudered to the French troops within a month. Parleying between M. Patenotre, the French Minister, and the Chinese official at Shanghai, on the subject of France's claim for an indemnity on account of the Langson outrage, is still piocceding, Meanwhile the French fleet, under Admiral Courbet, remains at Foochow, with the view to holding that place it the French demands are refusod.
