[Reuters telkgkams.J London, July 18. The ciiclcet match, Australians v. Middlesex, was concluded to day ab Lords. The weather was fine, anil the attendance good. The Australians, with nine wicLets down lor 179 runs, resumed their innings, which closed for ISS runs, Murdoch being nob out with 64. The home team, bung 185 to the bad, went in for their second innings, but only succeeded in scoring 10G ; and the Australians thus won the match by one innings, with 29 runs to spare. For Middlesex in the second innings the highest scoters were : —Lucas, run out 26 ; and O'Biien, b, 2.3. The bowling of the wsitois wa3 dead on, and the wicket-, fell rapidly. The second match with All England commences at Lords on Monday. July 19. In consequence of the collapse of the Middlesex in the recent match with the Austiahan ciickcteis, se\eral alteiationa have been made in the team chosen to repiesent all England in the match against the Australians, which commences at Lords on Monday. Every endeavour is being made to mateiially strengthen the representative English eleven.
