TERRIBLE RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
20 Persons Killed and 30 Injured. [by telegraph.— copyright. —REurEß.] |Received 18th July, 12.46 p.m. London, July 16. A dtsastkoits accideut occurred on the Manchester, Sheffield, and Lancashire Railway to-day. The axle of one of the carriages of an express train running from Manchester to Sheffield broke, and the srain left ths line and fell over nn embankment. Twenty persons were killed and thirty others sustained severe injuries.
