WELLINGTON, Wednesday. It is understood that Messrs Chibman and Fitzgerald, acting for Mr J. Eisfc, a candidate for South Wellington, have served upon W. Price a writ claiming £500 damages for slander contained in certain defamatory statements made by Mr Price to certain South Wellington electors.
