THE CAMBRIDGE RAILWAY.

Although the permanent way of this railway has to all appeal ance been completed it is not expected that it will be finished for traffic ior the next two months. There is as yet one bridge to eicct, as it has been found necessary to leplace one of the culverts. The contractor has commenced the erection of the Tamahere, Hautapu, ami Fen Court station buildings, the Cambridge terminus buildings being all but completed. The line is therefore not likely to be opened until about two months after the time set forth in Mr Mitehelson'? promise.
