ELECTION NEWS.

It will be seen that some alterations have been made in the list of places and times at which Mr Lake will address the electors of Waipa. He will hold his meeting at Hamilton on Friday night, aud not Saturday night as at first advertised, and will speak at Oluupo on Saturday. Dr. Beale is making an effort to bring out a Grey candidate for Waipa, with what success we have not yet learned, Mr C. Atkin has announced himself a, candidate for Eden. Mr Waddel has retired from the candidature for City North, and Mr Joseph Newman has taken his place.
