In the House of Commons on Monday, the motion of Sir Stafford Northcote, declaiing the Anglo-French agreement I regarding Egypt \\ ill neither lead to tlie pi ace of that countiy nor justify the English loan to Eiiypt, came up for disc ission. After some debate, the House, by a majority of 42, refused to discuss the motion, because it was deemed untimely. The motion was therefore postponed iudefinitely.
Major Kitchener, who has returned to Assouan from liis txpehtion to the interior, maintains that thete is the fullest evkleuce that lk-i bar lias fallen into the hands of the lebels.
One death from cholera has occurred hcie, and feat s are enteitained that the disease is spreading.
