SEARANCKE, Returning Officer for the Electoral Distiict ot Waikato, do heieby give notice that by \iitue of a writ beating date the 27th day of June, ISS4-, under the hand of the Clerk of the Wilts, an election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as Member for the said electoral district, and that the nomination of candidates w ill take place at the Courthouse, Cornbridge, at noon, on the sixteenth day of July, 1884, and th.it the POLL,, if necessary, will be taken at the seveial polling places of the said distiict, on the twentysecond day of July, 1884. T^XTRAORDINARY VACANCIES. Waikato County Council.

An Ettraoidinary Vacancy having occurred in the representation of the Cambridge North Riding, and one in the Cambiidge Riding, in the Waikato Counry Council, nominations of candidates to fill them will be received by the undersigned at his residence, Knikiriroa, up to noon of Tuesday, the Bth July.
