' In pursuance of The" Maori Representation Act 1867, and the Amendments thereof, I, George Thomas Esquire, Returning Officer forthe 1 Western Maori Electoral District, do hereby gi\e notice that, by virtue of a writ bearing date the Twenty-seventh day of June, 1884, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for tho return of One Qualified Person, to serve as a Member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court-house, Te Awamutu, Waikato, at noon on MONDAY, the Seventh day of July, ISB4, and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on MONDAY, the Twenty-first day of July, 1884.
