' ' Mi- Joseph Ward is announced for Wairau in opposition to Mr Dodson. A third candidate is expected in Mr G. Henderson. The nominations are fixed for the loth. Mr \V. H. Eyes has issued an address to the Picton electors in opposition to Mr Connolly. The other- candidates, including Mr Pilliet, have withdraw.
