MASONIC. Installation of Officers Lodge Alpha, 2014 E.C., Cambridge.

Thk ceremony of installing the W.M. and officers of Lodge Alpha took place on Tuesday evening (S. John's Bay), in the lodge room. About forty brethren were present, including a large contingent from Lodge Beta, 1.C., Hamilton, Bni. Seabrook, W.M., Lodge United Service, Auckland, and other visiting brethren. Bro. M. Moses, 1. P. 1E., acted as Installing Master, a&bihted by ßio. Murray, W.M,, Lodge Beta, Bros. 0. R. Johiibonund Seabrook, P.M., acting as presenting officers. Bro. Ohailos Chitty having been duly installed in the Master's chair, he appointed and investpd his officers as follows :— S.W., Bio. H. W. Moore; J.D., Bro. C. Tuck; Recietary, Bro. Westby; S.D., Bro. M. R. Keesing ; J.D., Bro. 0. E. E. Smith ; Hi., Bro. Master. Bro. T. B. Lewis was elected Tieasurer, and Bro. Mullins, Tyler. The addresses to the. Master, officers and brethren were delivered by Bro. Murray in a most impressive manner. After the lodge was closed, the brethren oncl vibiting brethren sat down to an excellent supper, and the proceedings, which weieof a most harmonious character throughout, weie bi ought to a close shortly after 11 o'clock.
